For those not aware, Jenn and I are expecting our first child in September!  Actually, they tell us the little one is due to arrive on September 11th.  (I have visions of the kid years from now looking at us and saying something like “What? You couldn’t have waited like a week??”)  We’re very excited about it and looking forward to the challenge.  We’re also waiting a little impatiently for our new model and budding photo assistant!

Anyway, we had our baby shower on Saturday, and had a great time!  We managed to morph pretty seamlessly from the all-girl, baby shower portion to the family-and-friends-come-on-over-for-a-barbeque afternoon/evening.  Had a great time – thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate our coming new addition.

We had a full house of folks staying over the night, and I took a few pictures Sunday morning.  These are mostly Jenn’s family, and a couple include 4 generations of women from the Hill family!  Even gave the camera to my father-in-law for a bit and he snagged a picture of Jenn and I.  The two girls are Jenn’s cousin and niece, who really hammed it up for us.  I love doing pictures of kids – they’re so fun and not too self-conscious that they hate having their picture taken yet…
