My commute in photos…
By Tom on Jul 23, 2009 in Inspiration
Scott Kelby hosted his 2nd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk on Saturday, July 18th, 2009. There were several walks in the Denver area, but as we were engaged to photograph the Connor Family Reunion, we did not attend any of these.
I thought the idea was very cool, though, so decided to do my own mini-walk yesterday, during my regular commute to & from downtown Denver. I took only the camera and my 50mm lens, to challenge myself to work with what I had.
This was an interesting self-assignment, that really got me out of my usual comfort zone and I definitely feel like i got my creative batteries recharged. Keep an eye out for pictures from future mini-walk excursions – I have a feeling I’ll be doing this again…

those are some great pics… my favorite is the non-slip yellow surface with the limited depth of field and the primary color sculpture with the starfish looking design. Great work!!!
