Happy Baby
By Tom on Apr 30, 2010 in Family, Lighting, Portraits
We had a very happy baby on our hands tonight…not sure why, but it lasted long enough for me to grab the camera gear and grab a few shots. Click thru for a few more, and a quick explanation of shooting parameters. Enjoy!
I used one flash in the EZYBox softbox, at 1/4 power. Shot on manual with aperture at f/4, and shutter speed at 1/320th thanks to the PW MiniTT1′s hypersync setting. Love it! That said, I probably should have dropped the power on the flash to 1/8th or had my assistant back up a bit as these were consistently about half stop overexposed. Nothing a few little tweaks in Lightroom couldn’t fix, thankfully, but it was a little sloppy of me.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful daughter. Hope to see lots of pictures in the coming months after your move.
