Captured this at the mall last weekend. K had been looking at this thing for a while but never climbed it by herself, nor went down it on her own either. We’ll have to remember that early Sunday mornings, the kiddie play area isn’t mobbed by masses of little people…
(Technical note #1…due to insanely small video upload sizes allowed in WordPress, I’ve had to outsource the hosting of this video to vimeo.com. Not a bad deal, but it has been interesting trying to figure out all the little tricks needed to get it to work properly.)
(Technical note #2…the song on playing in the video is by Newton Faulkner. I dragged it over from iTunes onto the video, but somehow messed it up so that the music doesn’t actually start until ~19 seconds into the video. Small detail, but didn’t want anyone thinking their speakers were broken.)
It’s been a bit chilly here in Montana lately…and that’s putting it mildly. So when we found a cheap flight to Phoenix last weekend, we jumped on the chance to go somewhere that only sees 30 degree temps in the freezer, not as a day time high. Add in a free weekend night at any InterContinental hotel, and we had a couple nights at the InterContinental Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale. This place was great! Occupancy was very low and we were moved to a ‘pool view’ room, as shown below:
Shot this last week while waiting for our flight to Denver. She certainly is getting pretty confident on those legs…except for the little bobble at the end there.
Due to the 10 inches of snow and subzero temps outside (-3F this morning!) today, we’re in hibernation mode, and I’ve got some time to finish up the Bangkok pics. There’s >50 in the slideshow below, and they’ll come up in a different random order each time you load the page, so you might need to watch several times for things to make sense. I included a little bit of everything here, from portraits of friends who were with us, temples, buddhas, flowers and chilis at the markets,”ladyboys”, klong (canal) tour pics, and even some wildlife. Hope you enjoy!
